The Victorious Life
FAITH:
Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
Habakkuk 2:4 KJV
The previous verses of the scripture above talked about victories and how to access them in other to make the most out of our lives. But this vision no one can fulfil without first setting in motion the power of faith, hence the statement, "the just shall live by his faith."
Because of the great importance of this lifestyle (the lifestyle of faith), it was repeated in the Bible four times(Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38) cutting through the Old Testament to the New Testament.
Faith is the universal currency required for us to make the most out of our lives. Every now and then in our life's journey we encounter challenges, and these challenges must be confronted and defeated in other for us to make the progress we so desired in our life's journey. But not until we activate our faith we can't be victorious in life. Faith is not passive but active in nature, because the men of faith are the men that are up and doing.
Our access to the blessedness of the Kingdom is tied to our doing of God's Word,
Matthew 7:24 KJV
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
and faith is that enabling force that spins us into action. One thing God is so pleased with according to the Bible is, doing His Word through faith. In Hebrews 11:6, the Bible stated clearly that no one can please God without his faith intact. Why is it so? It's simply because it takes faith to see God's Word being validated in our lives. And nothing pleases the Father more than His Word coming to reality in our lives.
The primary force behind living a victorious life is our faith.
What Is Faith?
Faith is a virtue of the Kingdom and not man made. It is the virtue of God that brings the supernatural to the realm of the natural thereby making impossible situations become possible. Faith is not stubbornness neither is it courage, rather it is holding on to God's Word hopefully and patiently until the desired result is obtained.
In faith, your motivating factor is the Word of God that you believed and received that spins you to act and not because of what you stand to gain.
How To Contact Faith
1. Faith is primarily contacted via the Word of God — Rom 10:17
2. The Spirit of faith can also be imparted by the laying of hands but there's need to exercising it in other for it to grow.
3. We can also contact faith by following the footsteps of those who obtained results through their faith-use. — Heb. 6:12
Because what God says to one, He says to all.
Types Of Faith
There are basically two kinds of faith. The living and dead faith
1. The Living Faith: This is that which is up and doing what God says. This faith is not passive nor potential in nature but vibrant and kinetic.
This faith takes God's Word and run with it. — Hab. 2:2
2. A Dead Faith: This kind of faith is dormant or inactive. It is the exact opposite of the living kind of faith.
A dead faith believes but never act instead, it waits on God to do everything.
This kind of faith is "an irresponsible faith" according to Bishop David Oyedepo.
NOTE: It is not enough to just believe the Word, (although that is what basically God requires of us) but to practically do what the Word says if we must live a victorious life.
You'll make it through in Jesus' Name.

Heavenly Father, I believe in Your Word and I pray that You fill my spirit, soul and body and cause my faith to come alive.
Save me Lord and I'll be saved. Thank You for answering me in Jesus' Name, amen.
